XXDon’t forget, the PaleyFest Vampire Diaries panel will be streaming live TONIGHT at 11:05 p.m. Eastern! You can use this livestream page to watch the panel as it unfolds. The panel guests will be Julie Plec, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Candice Accola, Matt Davis, and Kat Graham. TV Guide Magazine Editor-in-Chief Debra Birnbaum will be moderating the panel.

UPDATE According to the Paley Center Twitter, the panel is actually starting at 11:05pm EST. We think there may be an episode screening in advance of the panel, which accounts for the conflicting times. Sorry about any confusion! If you’re looking for twitter coverage, our friends at @IHeartTVD will be tweeting live from the event.

UPDATE 2: If you missed the live panel, it will be available on HuluPlus on March 15th.

Do you have to watch it live or can you watch it later? I have to work tonight. :(

  • Guest

Will people who live outside of the US be able to watch it too?

  • Dimascavazos

Starting 3/15 the video will be available on hulu.

  • cindychandler

That was fun to watch. Just wish that there has been a question specific to Daniel Gillies (Elijah).

  • ladym05

Ok, Ring Power will now accompanying my love of Team Brotherhood! Ring Power, Oh Team Defan!!

That was so much fun!  Great that they live streamed it for the fans. Couldn’t stop laughing!

  • http://twitter.com/car24girl Joan Sandberg

That would get me to watch SNL again!  Can you imagine – that would be hilarious!  They could spoof the show and do “Ring Power”.  SNL producers are you listening?

  • ladym05

That was so good, great fan questions.  I just wished Matt, Kat and Nina would have talked more.

  • http://twitter.com/car24girl Joan Sandberg

Yes, that would have been great.  I wish it had kept going. Ian was like “no, we can’t be done!”  I think it would have been nice to have Michael, Stephen, and some of the originals too.

  • ladym05

Now, that truly made me feel part of a family, TVD family.

  • dman

That was very enjoyable. It’s nice to see the cast in a different element. We get to see these people outside their characters and are able to enjoy them as their own unique selves. Looks like Matt is the jokester of the group. Paul’s a pretty funny guy too. Ian seems like a cool guy. Candice is great. Nina didn’t talk as much. I wanted to hear more from her. Also, Kat was a little too quiet. Julie was the best. She was great answering all the questions but didn’t give too much away. It’s obvious these guys love working together. Besides their obvious talent, they’re a great group of people. We fans should be happy and proud they’re a part of the show.

So can we get Price Peterson to moderate next time? That would be THE best.

  • Iansfan

wow, was that great, have just watched the panel on youtube and I´m still laughing. They are a funny bunch of people. And obviously they are all immensely enjoying themselves. Lucky people and lucky are we that we can be a part of that!

  • VAMPLOVER1973

Wow- this was freaking awesome. You can tell that this is a great group of people who get along so well. I was laughing almost all the way through it. Every single one of them was awesome and I feel so blessed that they’ve brought all of these fabulous characters to life…from the producers, to the writers, to the actors…This is a big shout out to all of you that work so hard to brings us these show each week. So I guess, what I’m trying to say is thank you for doing what you do…as long as this show is on the air, I’ll be there watching:)

  • Iansfan

     so will I… :)

  • Andesr

    thanks!

  • Iansfan

Isn´t it cute at the very beginning of the panel when the interviewer asks Ian about Rebekkah torturing him and he says it´s like every woman in  my life. And then he looks at Nina and she shakes her head and looks like she was flushing. Very funny. As the whole panel was. The good mood that those people show on the panel is what you feel when you watch the show.

  • Infidelz

Elijah was definitely mentioned a few times.  When PW brought up Elijah, Julie Plec put her hand on her heart and looked like she was going to swoon.  Very cute.  And the audience kind of roared with delight at the mention of Elijah. And the moderator asked Nina about Elena’s soft side for Elijah. And Ian asked if there was going to be an Elijah/Elena make out session.  lol  : )  Ian also said Elijah was pretty and Nina agreed that he was very good looking. So….I think there was some good Elijah lovin’ going on.

Thanks to those of you who posted links to interviews, pictures, etc. It was a lot of fun looking through them and hearing the cast talk about the show.

Can somebody tell me where to watch this?? i’m from europe :/

  • AbbyGraham

The only official version we know of is with HuluPlus on the 15th, I’m not sure if that will work for international fans. We appreciate that everyone wants to watch it, but we can’t support links to pirated footage on this site.

  • TVD*fan

    Yes i understand :) thanks, i’ll try HuluPlus :D

  • dman

Hello. I understand it’s your site and I respect that. I also understand your decision to take down the link I posted. But it would have been appreciated if you responded to me personally, even within your response, explaining the reasons why. That would have been respectful. After all, I was just helping another fan. I didn’t realize the YouTube footage was “pirated”. I’m a big fan of the site and I feel that if you’re going to take down comments and links, occasionally it would be nice to address the commenter directly. I would appreciate that and I’m sure others fans would too.

  • AbbyGraham

Once a comment is deleted, there’s no way to reply to it directly. I never thought you were being malicious in posting the link, and addressing you by name for doing so could be interpreted as picking on you, that’s why I didn’t do it.  My reply to the commenter above (which I edited shortly after posting, because it came off a little harsh initially) makes it clear why your link was deleted: the video was from an unofficial source.

  • TVD*fan

oh damn i missed your link :P haha i’ll look for it though if it’s on youtube, thanks :D

  • dman

I appreciate your response. I know it’s a different format, but sometimes we forget that we’re actually speaking to a real person. Moving on. I understand you cannot respond to a comment once it’s deleted. It’s just that sometimes, at-least personally, some of the your responses(other staff included) can seem a tad impersonal, like you’re sending out a memo. What I mean is that it’s more official sounding and less like you’re actually conversing with the person. But I also understand your reasoning that you don’t want it to be interpreted as picking on a commenter. I don’t think you have to address someone by name to get your point across. A happy medium would be great though.

  • AbbyGraham

When it comes to comment moderation, brief and businesslike is generally the safest road. We’d love to be able to converse casually with fans in comments, but we get so much flak for that (“You’re biased! This site hates my favorite actor/character/pairing/storyline! You always let x commenter do y and I NEVER get to do y!”) that we really can’t.
