Stefan’s “Descent Into Darkness”  was more like “There and Back Again” in a blink of an eye.

It would have been nice to see the Ripper in present day Mystic Falls instead he was just a vengeful vampire…….with blood issues……. who eventually allowed the love of his life to drown as he swam away with the wrong person.  “Come back Stefan”!  (why? why? why? nobody does that!)

Yes stefan was good and romantic and we loved him.  But when he went dark and bad, he really went dark and bad he was scary to watch because he had zero emotion and would just kill his eyes look so black and souless.  As much as we love stefan when he is sweet and caring  with people and his love Elena we did love stefan beating the ever lovin crap out of people and in some cases killing the odd super natural being or someone who kind of deserved it.  Julie looked really pretty in this clip she has beautiful blue eyes like ian.

I completely agree that it was too short lived and he got control of his century and a half blood lust in like 2 episodes. Sure they made it sound like it was still an on going issue but the change in control to the degree they showed was far too fast I think. I was actually excited in episdoe 1 when Ric and Damon found those headless female werewolfs. We saw some stuff after that but not as much as we could’ve. I think they were too afraid to taint him. I think it’s a shame because for a change I was starting to like Stefan’s character. By the end he was back to his old boring self. I’m hoping he doesn’t stay that way next season. He’s more entertaining when he has a mean streak showing.

Stefan can be awesome.  I love to see him dance too.

I don’t ever need to express myself on that issue again.  LOL  However, I will say that Stefan is totally vindicated with me.

I would like to say that it is quite possible that he has finally gotten a grip on his blood lust addiction to drinking human.  I hope we never see him kneeling on the floor in from of the deep freezer sucking on bags of blood like a backdoor drunk again.  That was almost as bad as that ridiculous drowning scene.

If they (the writers) go back to the bunny diet it will put this character into a descent that he won’t be able to recover from.  When Ric helped him and Stefan told Klaus that the addiction no longer had a hold over him.  I was relieved.  I thought finally he will show his real vampire side.  Not the ripper or the wanna be human but, the real vampire side.  We saw some of that in season 2 when he’d begun to get a handle on drinking blood from Elena.
