Oh no. I wish I’d never watched this episode over because it made me all upset again about Elena and Stefan. Somehow I’d talked myself out of being so ticked off by the end of the season.

You’re right, it was suppose to be on last night; I was actually looking forward to that episode. I’m a little disappointed they didn’t show it. It was one of the best episodes of the season, and a definite turning point in the series. I don’t know why they keep showing the episodes out of order. It’s very puzzling–and I don’t like it.

Loved loved this ep even more the second time around…but am I the only that found it really sad?! Elena finally figures out what she wants and doesn’t have to hide it, but now she has to justify it to the world, and prove that her feelings are real. Stefan not only loses the girl, but to his brother-someone he doesn’t think is deserving of her. And because of the sb, he doesn’t even know if her feelings are real…I know that s and e broke up for a good reason, but does Stefan? And Damon, my poor Damon, finally gets the I love u he’s waited for all his life, only to have to question it (rightfully so).
All this because of the sb….was it worth creating? Not to mention all the holes in the storyline, it just makes tvd so sad…
Her sleeping with Damon was, lets face it, a long time coming, she’s been holding back on too many feelings for far too long. Damon would have had doubts without the sb, he’s Damon! The only thing it did do was make Stefan want to find the cure even more…

Damon and Elena found themselves together in the end…but it took to long, for the wrong reasons.

In season two when we learned about Klaus Stefan said he could be just some bedtime story and that he hadn’t even met anyone who had laid eyes on him. Season later we were shown that they were besties in the twenties. Go figure (all the little hints in the show)!

And in this episode Rebekah goes how Silas doesn’t exist and is just a fairy tale. I was trying hard to make a sense of it first when the episode aired. How could she possibly know Silas? Where is the connection? I eventually gave up. Now, we all know the answer. It’s brilliant. Considering especially how much she is annoyed by Elijah’s and Klaus’s involvement with the doppelgangers, be it Tatia, Katherine, or Elena while Rebekah has with Stefan her own little doppelganger drama going on. So amazing.
