The Vampire Diaries returns tomorrow with Bring It On (EP416), so we also have the return of TV Guide‘s Vampire Diaries Bite video feature. This week, Ian Somerhalder discusses the new Elena:

“It’s super cool to see this super empowered woman where the boys aren’t scared she’s going to walk out the door and get killed because she’s a badass chick who can hold her own.”

“It’s super cool to see this super empowered woman. She’s a badass chick who can hold her own.” -Love this “I really want her to be my hot sexy vampire girlfriend, but I really don’t want her killing everybody,” Lol “…She’s probably gonna end up back with my brother but you know what it’s better for her. I’m gonna step back” Aw super selfless

  • NeverTrustASmilingCat

Anyone else notice… “I can’t get her to turn back her feelings”. Does it mean the sirebond is finally broken?!

  • Georgia_Peach

Nope, the sire bond is not broken, but it appears to be dormant just like Elena’s humanity.

  • Georgia_Peach

Awww! Damon will always be selfless when it comes to Elena.
