Need a fix to last you through next week’s new episode? The CW has uploaded a webclip for A View To A Kill (EP412) featuring some good old-fashioned Original sibling squabbling. Enjoy!

Don’t you love the way the Originals say ELIJAH differently than the rest of the MF gang. I always did. It’s more exotic ;)
Hayley will probably call him Mr Klaus and  I’m not your little b…h.LOL! Well all will be explained in time and I for one can’t wait!

  • Thirsty Like a Vamp

Original pronunciation of ELIJAH :-) Of course I do, love it. Looking forward to see more of feisty Hayley. Speculating she has TEAMed up with ELIJAH and/or KATHERINE for the Silas/cure treasure hunt.

  • shila1307

I love Elijah, always have, always will. He is kickass and really cool and mature. And he will show his face soon…
I can’t stand Hayley, twofaced snake, but you’re right she is feisty. I’ve seen some modeling pics the actress did this fall…beautiful and sexy :)

  • wednesday75

I’ve always noticed that too! I love the way they say his name! It is definitely more exotic sounding!

  • wednesday75

Nobody snatches hearts like Elijah! He’s the one that started it all! King of Hearts! LOL! Can’t stand Hayley either. Why couldn’t she have died during Klaus’s temper tantrum!

  • Thirsty Like a Vamp

They’re shooting the episode we were promised Elijah’s return, like a king (love his saint promo card). I’m keeping my fingers crossed someone will tweet something.
I don’t like how Hayley tricked Tyler, but she fits well into the new characters showing up in MF with secret agendas, so I wasn’t that surprised by her betrayal. And at the end of the day it all comes down to love, family and she’s looking for her parents. Plus Shane is very good at manipulating people.

  • shila1307

It’s just a different pronounciation of the J in Elijah but it makes all the difference :D

  • Mairead

She cheated on her husband. She turned all her children into evil blood drinking demons.  She turned her back on her son after her affair came out to try to make it up to her husband.  And then tried to kill them all.

Kinda makes me feel less bad about Klaus killing her LOL

  • wednesday75

Maybe I’m just not getting it right. So what would’ve happened to Rebekah if she had daggered Kol right then? Since she is an Original does that make her different or would she have still “died”? (You know an Original’s death- like when they were linked when one was daggered) I can’t believe she would’ve been willing to kill herself right there which is why I asked the question. And then Klaus made some kind of remark to her about how she needed to learn how to dagger a sibling. So I guess basically what I’m asking is what are the repercussions of an Original dagger another Original.

  • shila1307

LOL He is. I’ve already pointed out he does it so casual and elegant…”King of hearts” Seriously you’re killing me. After the xmas episode I wrote a comment sayng “I hope Ty kills the b…h”
You mean like kill the messenger. To quote Damon “You know what, I believe in killing the messenger and you know why? Because it sends a message” That would sum it up, wouldn’t it?

  • shila1307

So they are shooting ep 16 and 17 now. Elijah is not only a king, but the king of kings on TVD. Are you referring to the icon pics? I like them. Analysed all of them a few weeks ago with Kiki. That was a lot of fun :)
I hated how Hayley tricked Ty, but wasn’t that suprised either. And at the end of the day everyone must look out for themself.
The Shane is a chapter by himself, he is goodlooking, creepy, talks himself out of everything. Only speaking for myself but I am 97% sure that he is Silas without his powers or posessed by him like ALaric was by Klaus. The mythology is giving me headaches.

  • katherine_fan

Team Kol all the way! He’s the only one who’s seeing the Silas/cure situation clearly. And it was about time someone stole the daggers from Klaus.Maybe this will force him to deal with his siblings as a man not a brat (but I don’t see that happening).

  • katherine_fan

On one hand,I think Kol is the smartest  for fearing Silas after all the things he’s heard about him and the fact he’s 1000 yrs older than the Originals so he can easily kill them.
On the other hand, why is Silas the big bad?Because he can raise the dead?It doesn’t mean that he’ll want to.And if he could raise them, why didn’t he bring is girlfriend back to life? Moreover,Silas only wanted to create the cure b/c he wanted to kill himself. Why would he share it?I can’t wait to see the gang’s faces when they raise Silas and he commits suicide by taking the cure and they realise all of it was for nothing!

  • katherine_fan

He took it from Rebekah in the previous episode.

  • katherine_fan

Technically it was self-defence.And I don’t think putting your own siblings in a coma and waking them up whenever you feel like it as better.

  • kellygreen17

I’m pretty sure that they established in another episode (I can’t recall which one at the moment) that humans AND originals are the only ones that can use the daggers without dying, hence why Klaus can use them. The one scene I can remember right now that verifies this is when all the siblings’ each stabbed Klaus with the daggers just before Ester came “home” and surprised them all. Well, unless it didn’t kill them because it WAS Klaus (the hybrid) they stabbed and not “pure” vampire.

  • wednesday75

Ok thanks! That helps somewhat. You see why it can be confusing! Klaus is what makes it a little complicated. We’ve only seen them all dagger Klaus, not any of the others. Him being a hybrid could make a big difference like you said.

  • kellygreen17

Yah, I guess the only way to know if there’s actual dialogue to support that the other originals can use the daggers freely would be to go back and either re-watch the series or read the transcripts of the episodes, but that’s too much work for me right now lol. It’s a lot easier to just wait until the next episode airs and see how things play out :).

  • wednesday75

I know right! They’re trying to kill us with all this mythology stuff! My head wants to explode sometimes! LOL! Maybe this week we can get some answers. I don’t know if you saw the Australian promo yet, but Elena asked Stefan to dagger Rebekah. He better not! But remember she has the last one, well because Kol has all the others plus the white oak dagger that could kill all of them. He is one smart boy. If Klaus had it his way they’d all be back in boxes! But I think Rebekah & Stefan may dagger Kol so that Damon will be released from Kol’s compulsion. Because in the following episode the gang (including Rebekah) go on the expedition for the cure and Kol isn’t mentioned. So I can’t wait to till Thursday!

  • Alicep

If u are with bed, why do u wanna get back with Elena ???

It only kills a regular vampire. There aren’t any effects to an Original.

could it be possible that Rebekah didn’t know she’d die if she daggers Kol? Therefore Klaus’ comment about her having to learn how to dagger a sibling.
But didn’t Klaus dagger his siblings before he activated his hybrid status? So he survived it, too

I find it strange that Kol is the only Original that seems to have an issue with Silas.  Does he know more than what he is saying?  He going to die anyway, so he won’t have to worry about it!  LOL

I heard that they are killing off a major cast member and it is going to change everything and everyone in Mystic Falls.  I think it is either
Tyler or Caroline.  It may be that Tyler and Klaus have a confrontation and Caroline gets in the middle to save Tyler and is collateral damage.  That is why Klaus leaves Mystic Falls.  Hence the new life in New Orleans, new love interest, etc.
It would be sad to see her go, though.  I like her as a vampire.
    We shall see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • frh1203

If Silas is 2000 yrs old and Klaus is only 1000 yrs old then why does he think that Kol’s fear of Silas is irrational? I think Kol may be the only one who came across any Silas worshippers before.

“You can file that request under no chance in hell.” HA HA. Go Bex!

You’re right he did do that. Rebekah back in the 20′s & the others before that, but he was still a hybrid remember. The daggers don’t work on him. Back when Rebekah met that hunter they did dagger him, but he woke up & killed all of them. Or maybe I’m just really confusing myself even more! Lol!

  • From Beginning To End

Klaus has daggered Rebekah since becoming a hybrid. (He was only a vampire back in the 20′s since the werewolf side was dormant). I believe an original can wield the dagger without dying, unless it’s only Klaus who can do that. We haven’t actually seen another original do it before so I guess we’ll see.

  • wednesday75

That’s what I’m waiting for! But I bet Elena or Jeremy will probably dagger Kol though. Elena’s already daggered 3 Originals. She’s becoming a real pro! Who daggered Finn? Was it Stefan, Elena or Matt? It’s been awhile since I watched that one. I just remember it being a team effort!

  • shila1307

A vampire cannot dagger an Original, it will kill the vampire. Elena can’t do the “dirty deed” anymore. Matt daggered Finn and Elena daggered them while she was still human. Alaric daggered Elijah during the dinner party etc :)

  • wednesday75

I knew that about the vampire thing! I must have spaced out at when I was writing that comment! Duh! I just remember Stefan being there. You’re right. Matt did dagger him. I just had to pull the scene up on yt, it’s been so long since I’d seen it. I really did feel for Finn & Sage. She’d waited 900 years for him and only got to spend less then one day with him & had to watch him die right in front of her. At least she didn’t have to live without him much longer!

  • shila1307

Yeah, better one day loved and in heaven, than an eternity alone in hell. At least both flew skyhigh before they took the fall

  • wednesday75

    I couldn’t agree more!

  • Lauren

I like Rebekah. I have always liked her. I think she’s cute. I think she’s fun. It’s amusing to watch her pout or throw a little tantrum when something doesn’t go her way. It’s like she’s a normal teenage girl. She wants love. She wants to be accepted. But she’s been hurt a lot, so she is slow to trust people.
She is incredibly loyal. Klaus abused her and betrayed her countless times, but she forgave him again and again. She suffers so much misfortune, Lemony Snicket should narrate her life. And yet she keeps on picking herself back up and moving forward. At the worst times of her life, when it seems like everyone is against her, she doesn’t cry. She throws a party.
She’s real. She finds the truth and lays it out there for all to see. She refuses to accept defeat. As we’ve just seen, she stands up for herself.
So I’m happy that she’s getting it in. And look at poor Klaus. When is the last time he got laid? Maybe he’s too focused on winning over Caroline to realize that something is missing from his life. No wonder he snapped and massacred all those hybrids.
