Klaus and Caroline belong together???How??The abusive guy and the abused girl are your idea of true love??

  • katherine_fan

I’m more worried about what will happen to Tyler if Klaus finds out.
”He’s going to be crushed!”-I hope so.

  • kellygreen17

I don’t think that he was her step-brother, they never indicated that his dad and her mom were married, and as they are not blood related nor had they ever met prior to this, the relationship was not that skive.  A bit odd perhaps, but not taboo.  They were strangers prior to meeting, and even though there was the connection with her mom, it is not that weird that they could develop a relationship.

  • Karen

Some of us are fans of the entire show.  Damon is great, but we love the whole show.

  • ihatepeople

I get what you’re saying and that’s true they weren’t related. It just strikes an immediate odd feeling I think because they made it so her mom was raising him like a son. Truthfully there is no socially unacceptable reason for them not to date. It’s just one of those things where I have to take a step back and logically think it thru “oh yeah they’re not related.”

  • karen

How do you figure Delena is  the “majority”?  Delena may win some polls, comments, etc but usually there are at the most 50 or so people voting.  There are over 2 million plus people who watch the vampire diaries so unless you literally knock on all doors and ask the people.  You are not the majority.  The majority of us are fans of The vampire diaires.

  • ihatepeople

That went by the side after Meredith told him to make up with Stefan and Elena so he wasn’t so alone. Plus he knows there is more to come because he knows about the 5 now and he told Stefan he’d help him with the cure hunt because it’s what Stefan wants. He’s not going anywhere unless some takes him or kills him.

  • Raven

Some of us love the show and have an affinity for Damon.Last I checked it’s not a crime simply a preference :)

  • Raven

As far as the fans of shipping Delena is indeed the majority.I was not talking about the show in general just the romantic side of it.And for someone who pretends to be objective I must say you are showing a very definite aversion to all things Damon and you see fit to antagonize my opinion.I love it. I welcome debate but don’t hide behind objectivity when you are clearly a fan beyond the generalities of the show.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/U42UWOLRXBTMSTIGISV6SRTT64 Annie

I didn’t see that Raven said that Delena was the majority, she said that most want Stelena to end. And while I agree that most of us watch because we like the show, no matter who’s with who, putting words in someone’s mouth is not ok.

  • Raven

This a very plausible theory and I always enjoy your insight. I’m wondering if  in the end this cure is worthy it.I wish Elena would try to adjust to her vampirism she does have an eternity to come to terms with what it means to be young and beautiful for ever. Not to mention having two gorgeous specimen of utter manliness crazy in love with you.Woe me Elena.

  • karen

R u serious?  I wouldn’t just assume.  Obviously I have read comments and know who Delena, Stelena, Bamon, etc are.  Simple enough.

  • karen

Didn’t say I didn’t like Damon.  As I said above I’ve read comments and have a pretty good memory of who fans love or love to hate.   I’m a fan of the show as a whole.  btw, your “big words” are cute.

  • Raven

Thank you.Big words are of course profound and not “cute” but I will accept the compliment in the spirit that it was given. :)

  • guest

Honey, just give up.  This is exactly why I stop posting and have stopped watching the show as must see tv. I also use to be a regular poster here and stop.  If you don’t worship at the alter of Delena, Nian, or Damon, this is not a fun place to be!

Okkk, home sweet home, now i can elaborate…..ok some of the things you said I agree with, like them going to find Stefan, yes it wasn’t in the dark dimension, but at the same time, Matt was a big part of that, and I feel he still should be, cuz as Damon and Elena were getting closer, Matt was alwayyyysssss there cockblocking their every move. Yes Elena being turned is a big part of the books, BUT….the aftermath of her transition is total different!! To be more in code……the BIG THING with Damon…and Katherine…she should’ve been dead by now, but they’re keeping her around. Actually in the books I never felt she gave Damon that much attitude, it was more Jealousy of how Bonnie was towards Damon that kinda drove Elena, which I’m still looking to see, but let me clarify that by saying i am DEFINITELY not looking forward to some Bamon scene along those lines. I felt her and Damon’s scenes in the books, were sooo much more passionate than the ones on the show, earlier on in the series anyway, like when she first met Damon, she was gonna kiss him, and he never compelled her to do so….like I feel the trip that HOPEFULLY Stefan takes with Klaus on this Journey to find the cure, will be what the books have done, like the aftermath after that…the storyline with Caroline and Tyler wayyy different from the books, but now as Caroline is a vampire, most of it won’t happen….and the same with Meredith, we all know her story from the books, and i’m ready to see more of that. Not EXACTLY what we read in the books, but something along those lines, like more of the hidden history part….one thing I would loveee to see in the show, is the garden or backyard scene, w/e u wanna call it, with Damon and Elena, when he was telling her about her favorite book, while Stefan was asleep upstairs, I also want to see the Lake Scene between them, you know which one i’m talking about, when she almost catches Pneumonia……..and the best Part….when she FREAKS THE HELL OUT….and Yellsssssss at Stefan, putting her foot down….you definitely know what i’m talking about, lol………but yea I hope I gave you some type of picture on where i’m coming from, just more literally things like that, not like the general type of loose stuff, we’ve seen so far.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_E5S2Y7H2HJE3A5JXS6UBPX26CY Shannon

Yea, I don’t see it as a problem for them dating, that “step-brother” thing is out the window for me, but i get what you’re saying….as for Elena not being a virgin, I guess that was a way for them to make it more exciting, …for some reason, i have a feeling they did that cuz Jeremy’s in the picture and not Margaret….idk why, but i feel like if Margaret was in the picture, Elena would be more “innocent”

  • karen

I think it’s great that older people like you enjoy watching this show with us.  My mom tried but gave up.

  • Chrisfer

Stefan was away saving Damon’s life…Oops!

  • Marina

I agree. This site used to be pretty fun to read and share our opinions, but now, if you don’t have anything good to say about Damon or DE you’re in the “wrong side” of the fandom.

Some can freely insult Stefan (idiot, pathetic, stupid) and call SE boring, cheese, etc, but we’re not allowed to call Damon “selfish” or use the word “lust” with DE. Oh and the repetitive argument “We’re the majority ship or fanbase on TVD” is getting really old.

  • Georgia_Peach

I am looking at this whole “cure” of turning a vampire back human very cautiously, which means I am 99.9% sure it is not what it appears to be.

Jeremy is a potential vampire hunter, which means he may accept his destiny as one of the five.   Considering Elena is now a vampire, that could certainly be disastrous.

I agree that Katherine is probably a hallucination, which makes me kinda sad because I miss her.

Also, it would have been nice to actually see Klaus taking out the “five”. I feel like I missed a really good scene.

  • ihatepeople

Ah gottcha. I can see that. They had some really nice moments together in private. I just didn’t like how as soon as Stefan was around she’d flaunt her relationship with him in front of Damon and was kind of mean. It felt two faced to me which I don’t care for even if her feels ran deep which we know they did because we saw it when he died.

Caroline and Tyler…Waaaaay different in the books. So was Meredith.

I know a lot of fans would like to see Bamon but the Bonnie on the show is stronger than the one from the book who seemed to easily smitten with Damon. Also Damon doesn’t really trust her. There is too much animosity between them.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/U42UWOLRXBTMSTIGISV6SRTT64 Annie

I never assume, I change my mind quite frequently on the subject, and my comments reflect that. May seem contradictory to some, but what’s the point, I love every combination it’s more fun that way.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/U42UWOLRXBTMSTIGISV6SRTT64 Annie

I’m disappointed in Elena, I wanted to see her struggle yes but I wanted her to eventually accept the lot she was given. She’s acting like she is the only one who was turned into a vampire against her will. Her death was the only one that came via acceptance the rest were murdered. Then again it seems that she and Kat have an affinity for suicide.

  • ihatepeople

That could be. It does make it more interesting for TV having Elena not be so viriginal especially if Jeremy isn’t.

  • ihatepeople

Hahaha. Kind of ironic that people forget about that with Tyler but they don’t forget about it with Damon despite how much he’s changed.

  • ihatepeople

“Per Elena’s code, you can threaten to drive her off a bridge and turn her into a vampire, put your need for revenge above her…and that’s ok. But by God, you’d best not keep a secret from her, and you best not compel Jeremy, unless she asks you to, of course;)”- OMG! That was awesome.

P.S. I’ll be surprised if Kat isn’t an hallucination.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_E5S2Y7H2HJE3A5JXS6UBPX26CY Shannon

Exactly with Caroline, Tyler, Bonnie, Bonnie was such a scaredy cat.and the way she acted with Damon constanly blushing or swooning over him, especially sometimes in Elena’s face, really bothered me….and I didn’t like that either, Elena was very two-faced in that sense, she really couldn’t make up her mind….but the way she stood up to Stefan in that one major scene in the tree with Damon….that for me, that’s when i felt, she def. made her choice, and didn’t want Stefan, the way she acted after, especially that window scene, when he came to the window, and she was so disappointed it was him, and NOT the other brother….haha i’m trying to talk in code, some people still haven’t read the books. lol sorry i can’t help it.

  • ihatepeople

I know which ones you’re talking about. She definitely showed her real feelings when he sacrificed himself to save Bonnie. She couldn’t fake those and Stefan knew it too. The Bonnie in the books is certainly not like the Bonnie in TVD.

  • From Beginning To End

Lol, or when Mikael fed off Stefan, so sexy :P

  • From Beginning To End

Episode airs on Friday in Europe, I think. It airs on Thursday and Friday on a couple different channels in Canada. Before I had the CW I had to watch it on MuchMusic on Fridays.

  • From Beginning To End

I am not particularly taking a side in the argument, but I do want to say that most statistics are not developed by literally knocking on every door. Usually they come from various smaller random samples. So while I won’t say you’re wrong, because statistics can be very wrong, I am saying the knock on every door argument isn’t the best.

  • Guest

Maybe this part of the website should be labeled…let’s bag on Stefan & celebrate all things Damon.  UGH!  Not reading anymore. Can’t stand it.  I love how Damon is just perfect & Stefan is so horribly flawed and never does anything right.  All of Damon’s plans ALWAYS work, right?

  • VAMPLOVER1973

I’ve got my fingers crossed that Kat’s back and it’s not a hallucination, but I’m not holding my breath either. Those writers are sneaky, Kat could have decided to come back and check on her “boys”…..but what I want to see is her reation when she finds out all about what’s happened while she’s been gone;)

  • ihatepeople

We’ve all missed her sassiness. :) I’m leaning towards the hallucination thing because Klaus is still alive and Kat looked a little too pleased about Elena’s perdicament. I would think she wouldn’t be happy about it because now she’ll have to compete with Elena for eternity over their precious Steffie. Unless of course she has an agenda all her own which knowing Kat when doesn’t she? One more day until we find out.

  • From Beginning To End

My sister is probably about your age, but then I don’t want to be rude and assume anything. Anyway, she just cant get into this show, (good thing for me, watching some of the sexier stuff is awkward with your little sis).  She can also articulate herself very well using five dollar words, so I guess the assertion we can make here is that age has nothing to do with anything.

  • From Beginning To End

You are allowed to say anything you want. In a public forum you have to be open to and expecting that when you post your opinion people will disagree. Sometimes it might be out of line, but we are lucky enough to have moderators for that. No one is telling you to “stfu Delena’s” like above somewhere.

  • From Beginning To End

I think you mean Klaus not Tyler, lol. Though Tyler used to treat Vicky pretty bad…kind of abusive himself. I think everyone has to accept vampires go by different rules haha

  • From Beginning To End

I think he likes the siring aspect of it. Like I think he likes that they by default like him and stand by him. It’s his complex or something.

  • From Beginning To End

Oh so you mean they killed the one they created, I get it. But they could bring it back, like towards the end of last season I thought the relationship was great all over again. You didn’t think so?

  • From Beginning To End

I never noticed that about Bonnie, that’s a good point. I think I’d like to see that too. Why can’t Bonnie have a sexy scene?

  • From Beginning To End

I think in S1 before his mom came in we started to see Matt and Caroline start something, which is still more than can be said for Bonnie :S

  • ihatepeople

LOL…Klaus IS the big bad wolf. Tyler was a punk in the beginning who was agressive, picking fights even with the guys. He got better after his father died.

  • ihatepeople

Now that you mention it I do vaguely remember that but it was so mild it slipped my mind. Haha

  • Barberbabe8535

    In reply to Guest:

We get it already!  You love Stefan.  He is your favorite character on the show.  You want him with Elena.  He’s the hero.  His love is good, and deep and true.  He’s selfless.  He’s kind.  He’s the very best, boyfriend, brother, friend and over all person on the show and you think that the rest of the fandom should feel the same.  But….

Only we don’t.  We see him as deeply flawed with serious issues.  We see that he has a real problem with honesty, self control and jealousy.  We see that he is often without a backbone and tends to live in a constant state of denial.  We see that he often puts his own brother down in an effort to make himself look better even though his brother NEVER does that to him.  We see that although he loves Elena deeply, and he would do anything to help her or protect her, his love comes with conditions.  When we look at Stefan, we don’t see a hero.  We see a person who is constantly hiding who he really is.  A ticking time bomb that could go off at any moment.

Look, it’s fine that you see Stefan the way that you do.  Sometimes it is very difficult to remove rose colored glasses.  But stop being so pissed off because the rest of us aren’t wearing any.
